bullet 500 gms potatoes
bullet 1 tsp kalonji
bullet 1 tsp salt
bullet 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
bullet 2 tsp oil
bullet 1 tsp cumin seeds
bullet 1 tsp chopped garlic
bullet Few curry leaves
   
  • Peel and cut the potatoes lengthwise.
  • Dip in the water and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry curry leaves, cumin seeds and chopped garlic.
  • Add potatoes and the rest of the ingredients with one cup of water.
  • Cover the pan and cook on low heat till potatoes are tender and thick gravy is obtained.
