bullet Ladyfingers 1/2 kg (whole)
bullet Onions 4 medium size, thinly sliced
bullet Nigella seeds (kalonji) 1/2 tsp
bullet Green chilies 4
bullet Turmeric powder 1 tsp
bullet Red chili powder 1 tsp
bullet Dried mango powder 2 tbsp
bullet Lemons 2
bullet Coriander seeds 1 tsp
bullet Aniseed (saunf) 1/2 tsp
bullet Salt to tastes
bullet Dalda or your choice of cooking oil 3/4 cup
  • Wash the ladyfingers. Chop off the tough part. Mix all the spices and sliced onions with it. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the ladyfingers for about 5 minutes and then cover with a lid for about 10 minutes. Serve hot.
