bullet Okra 1/2 kg, wash and drain, chop finely
bullet Onions 4 medium, finely chopped
bullet Red chillies 1/2 tbsp, crushed
bullet Cumin seeds 1 tsp
bullet Turmeric 1/2 tsp
bullet Lemon 3
bullet Green chillies 3 chopped
bullet Oil 1/2 cup
bullet Salt to taste
  • Heat oil in a karahi and fry onions till golden brown. Add okra, red chillies, and turmeric and cumin seeds. Cook for a few minutes stirring frequently. Then cover and cook for five minutes. Sprinkle the juice of three lemons, green chillies and salt. Serve hot with puri.
  • Serves: 5
