Heat
the oil in the pan; add asafoetida, ginger, turmeric powder,
coriander powder, and cumin powder. Sauté for a while. Add
the potatoes and sauté for 1 minute. Add the tomato puree,
salt, and green chillies. Cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with
dry red chillies and serve with khasta kachauri or bharvin
puri.
