bullet Cottage cheese, cut in squares 250 g
bullet Onion, finely chopped 1 medium
bullet Onion, cut in squares 1 medium
bullet Tomatoes, finely chopped 2 medium
bullet Capsicum, cut in squares 2 medium
bullet Green chillies, finely chopped 3
bullet Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
bullet Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
bullet Oil 4 tbsp
bullet Salt to taste
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil and fry finely chopped onions till golden brown. Remove onions from oil, combine with chopped tomatoes and grind fine.
  • Put the remaining 2 tbsp oil in the same pan, add tomato and onion mixture and fry on medium heat for a few minutes.
  • Then add the green chillies and other spices, stir till the spices are cooked, about 7-8 minutes and oil separates from gravy.
  • Add capsicums and square cut onions, fry again stirring on medium heat. Put in the cottage cheese, continue frying for a few more minutes.
  • Turn heat down to low and simmer for five minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Serve with Paho chicken.
