1/2 kg large prawns |
 |
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seed powder |
 |
1/2 tsp black pepper powder |
 |
1/2 tsp salt |
 |

cup coconut milk |
 |
1
cup macaroni, boiled |
 |

tbsp sugar |
 |
1
tbsp lime juice |
 |
1
tsp garlic/ginger paste |
 |
1
tbsp oil |
 |
2
tsp tamarind pulp |
 |
2
tbsp soya sauce |
 |
3
green chillies, de-seeded and finely sliced |

tbsp fried onion paste |

Shell and de-vein the prawns. Heat oil in a deep pan, add
garlic/ginger paste, cumin seed powder, fried onion paste
and coconut milk, and stir over medium heat till it starts
to boil.

Add the prawns and let them simmer for five minutes. Add the
tamarind pulp, soya sauce, sugar, chillies, black pepper
powder, salt, lime juice and macaroni.
