bullet Fish Surmai 1 kg, boneless fillets
bullet Red chillies 1 tbsp, crushed
bullet Cumin seeds 1 tsp, roasted and powdered
bullet White vinegar 2 tbsp
bullet Lemons 4
bullet Soya sauce 2 tbsp
bullet Salt to taste
bullet Oil 4 tbsp
  • Sprinkle white vinegar on fish, leave for 10 minutes and wash. Mix all ingredients except oil and marinate fish for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Thread on skewers and cook on hot coals. Apply a little oil with brush and squeeze lemon juice on fish. Serve with tamarind chutney.
