Chickpeas 1/2 cup- soak in hot water for 1/2 hour
Beetroots 4 boiled and cut in small squares
Raisins 1/2 cup for garnish, soak in hot water
White pepper 1 tsp powdered
Sugar 1 tsp
Salad oil 1 tbsp
White vinegar 1 tbsp
Lemons 4
Salt to taste
Drain the chickpeas and boil in fresh water. Do not overcook. Drain chickpeas. Combine with all other ingredients and lemon juice and refrigerate. Roast the raisins on a tawa with a little grease and sprinkle on salad before serving.
