bullet Chickpeas 1/2 cup- soak in hot water for 1/2 hour
bullet Beetroots 4 boiled and cut in small squares
bullet Raisins 1/2 cup for garnish, soak in hot water
bullet White pepper 1 tsp powdered
bullet Sugar 1 tsp
bullet Salad oil 1 tbsp
bullet White vinegar 1 tbsp
bullet Lemons 4
bullet Salt to taste
  • Drain the chickpeas and boil in fresh water. Do not overcook. Drain chickpeas. Combine with all other ingredients and lemon juice and refrigerate. Roast the raisins on a tawa with a little grease and sprinkle on salad before serving.
