Dear KP team / admin
I can across this website by accident I liked it at once and got my self registered as i love cooking!!!
I often watch the food shows on TV lik food afternoon with farrah , food evening by rahat, chef zakir etc....however since i am a working lady
I often miss most of the shows... especially the ones on geo as they are not repeated, futher there is a major electricity problem in Karachi and i am unable to view most of the shows.... your website has the perfect solution to these i.e the videos that are uploaded.
but there is another problem to this, the internet connection is quite slow and i am unable to play these videos online can you please include written recipes of these cooking shows in your website?? this will help me and others a great deal who are not able to watch these wonderful cooking shows

Dear Muneez Ali AOA Welcome to KP. Thank you so much for such wonderful comments and kind words about KP. It's great to hear that our efforts are fruitfull and there's a purpose to what we are doing. About written recipes, sure we have that in mind actually a few of KP members have started to share the efforts with us and have started posting recipes in written format in the forum, for which we are thankful. I would like to mention Nomi http://www.khanapakana.com/recipes/yaf_profile22138.aspx here. We think she has pioneered this and deserves all the credit. But hopefully this will grow as more and more members will start pitching in making KP more and more community driven. We are constanly thinking & working on ways to improve KP and sugguestions & comments such as your encourage and motivate us to do more and morek so please keep the comments coming. i visited kp website just a few days ago as i shifted abroad.n it is like really awesome.it has really helped me alot.now a problem that is ocouring n i wanted 2 share it wid u ppl as i have my best interests at heart for kp.now the problem is that whenever i play a videoof any food show,it interrupts n stops so many times that it requires almost an hour 2 copy a recipie of 30 minutes.pls look upon this problm.i'l b greatful 2 u.

Dear Jawaria, Thank you for the kind words and welcome to KP community. We had recently upgraded our internet services to tackle growing demand of video watching by thousands on daily basis. Now apparently, the recent costly upgrade is not sufficient as more and more people are informing us that video stream require lots of buffering from time to time. Well, just so you know that we're actively working on accommodating more & more users and have started looking into better ways to stream videos and other contents. In the meantime, please do share details such as your internet speed, browser being used, the flash player version, your PC’s operating system so we can be sure it’s not something specific to your setup. hello,
i am very fond of your website, because after one year of my wedding i came to US. So i really need at that time some help for cooking which is i am getting from this website very well. But i have one issue, i have a very speed internet with 5mbps, but the problem is this that sometime the video takes very long time to load and if it loads quickly then it stucks alot not running properly. Please look at this, the old player and the website fromwhich you were initially giving the links was much better then the new player. Otherwise you guys are doing a fantabolus job.

Dear Madiha, Thank you for the kind words and we're glad our services have had helped with your cooking. As for your question, would you be kind enough to point out a few of the problematic videos or provide us the links, name, etc so we could look into this further. We do know there are certain hours where the user traffic is at peak. For US relatively low traffic hours are between 6-12PM EST or 3-9PM PST. Please try watching videos during this time and let us know the response. On a side note: we're looking into options to further increase our internet bandwidth as Alhumdoillah more & more people are benefiting on daily, monthly basis. First two days of Ramadan broke all our previous single day user traffic records. Thanks to the entire KP community.

hi kp admin i want to suggest that as u know people related to other relions have their some specialities for their events like holi and diwali etc , i wanted u to make a seperate corner for eid dishes and any other upcoming events, the reason of asking for that is actually people live outside pakistan 90% of then dont know the specialities of the day of eid and other events, as in pakistan we use to have sheer khurma and other sweet dishes and lots of other things specially for eid. u can give recipies for serving for guests on eid and for dinners and etc etc. for example now muharram will come in two months u can suggest different recipies for SHABDAEG and things like that. all i want to say is that in this way u can educate people as well about typical paki calture and the new generation like us really need to know about the events like shab-e barat,shabe miraj. all i suggest is to highlight events with some recipies and ask everyone how did they find making specialites on the right events .it will be great help for young girls married and have come abroad with little or no experience of cooking but remember our own culture is very rich and related with cooking. i think u will like my suggestion.

Dear Jazzy Thanks so much for your much appreciated detaied sugguestion. You have read our mind. This is very much along thee same lines we are thinking about. You must've noticed the Ramdan theme and soon you will see the Eid theme and so and so forth. We have added the MyKP section where visitors will be able to Save their favorite recipes. This is where we are concentrating more right now so you can really personalize your KhanaPakana experience. hi
i ve been bussy for couple of days coz of iftariis u know i have just seen the eid recipies and i m so much happy u have just really liked my suggestion thanks and i wish for our khana pakana community to get more social because i have got a feeling that so many women or girls must have made so many delicious dishes getting recipies from this site but i will more appreciate if they will spare some moments to join our community and give thier thoughts as well.
