Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper,” is a popular saying. The Nizams of Hyderabad believed in this saying but only till the point of eating like kings all the time. After all they were kings! Even in this day and age most traditional Hyderabadi families continue the tradition of the Nizam’s breakfast, especially on Sundays.
