Ingredients

  • Shrimps 1/2 kg
  • Bread, stale bread 6 slices
  • Eggs separated, beat egg yolks and whites separately 2
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Bread crumbs 1 pkt
  • Almonds, crushed 10
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Gram flour pinch
  • Oil for deep frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Clean and marinate shrimps for half an hour.

  2. Mix shrimps with salt, black pepper and corn flour and crush with a fork.

  3. Remove the brown edge from bread slices and spread the shrimp paste on one side.

  4. Brush with beaten egg whites.

  5. Dip in breadcrumbs and crushed almonds and deep fry till golden brown.

  6. Drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle with a pinch of gram flour.
