1   INGREDIENTS

  • Cottage Cheese cut into thick long pieces 400 grams
  • Onions thickly sliced 2 medium
  • Red and yellow bell peppers
  • Tomatoes cut into thick long strips 2
  • Green chilli chopped 2
  • Ginger juliennes 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala and red chilli powder
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 3 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander Leaves finely chopped

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat the oil in a heavy-bottmed pan on medium level and toss in the cumin seeds.
  2. When they begin to crackle, add the ginger juliennes, chopped green chillies and the sliced onions.
  3. Saute for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the turmeric and red chilli powders.
  5. Stir well and toss in the bell peppers.
  6. Mix well and cook on medium level for about 3 minutes.
  7. Add the cottage cheese (paneer).
  8. Toss lightly and add the salt and lemon juice.
  9. Then, cook on medium level for about 3 minutes.
  10. Stir in the tomato strips and the hot spice mix and mix well.
  11. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
