1   INGREDIENTS

  • Meat(cut in big Piece) 1 kg
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Onions (finely Sliced) 2 medium
  • Red Chilli Powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Whole Garam Masala 1 tbsp
  • Big Cardamom 1-2
  • Caraway Seeds 1 tsp
  • Wheat Flour 1/2 cup
  • Banaspati Ghee or Cooking Oil 3/4 cup
  • Garnish:
  • Ginger(julienne)

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Dissolve wheat flour in a cup of water to make a thick paste.

  2. In a pot, heat banaspati ghee or cooking oil on medium heat for 3-4 minutes
  3. and add whole garam masala.
  4. When it pops, add onions and stir-fry till golden.
  5. Add gigner garlic paste and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Then add meat and tir well until ghee or cooking oil separates.
  7. Mix yogurt with salt, red chill, turmeric, cardamom and carawaty seeds and pour it on the meat.
  8. Add the flour paste and mix well.
  9. Add 4-6 cups of water, cover and simmer on low heat until the meat is fully tender.
  10. Garnish and serve hot with naan.
