Shopping for your baby should be fun
- 1 1/2 cups warm water (110F)
-
3 teaspoons yeast
-
-
3 tablespoons Olive oil
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
-
3 cups All-purpose flour
-
Olive oil/cooking spray
-
Toppings and sauce of choice. (I used a roasted garlic pasta sauce from Sonoma Gourmet and for the toppings I used mushrooms, green onions, turkey pepperoni and Italian blend cheese)
- Combine water and yeast in a large bowl and set aside for a couple of mins.
-
Add the next 2 ingredients in and mix well.
-
Now add the flour a little at a time, incorporating it well into the yeast mixture each time.
-
Once you have used all the flour, turn out onto a floured surface and knead until the dough is smooth.
-
Pour a little olive oil on the entire dough, put the dough back into the bowl and cover and keep in a warm place until the dough is doubled in size. (It took about an hour for me)
-
When the dough has risen, punch down, spread on pizza tray, put on the sauce & toppings of choice and bake in a 350F preheated oven for about 30 mins.
