Make your time spent in Kitchen a quality one
- Green tomatoes. Cut into big pieces 1/2 kg

Oil 1/4 cup / 50 ml

Cumin seeds (jeera) 1/2 tsp / 3 gm

Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1/2 tsp / 3 gm

Green chillies, sit 2-3

Red chilli powder 1 tsp / 5 gm

Coriander (dhaniya) powder 2 tsp / 10 gm

Turmeric (haldi) powder 1/2 tsp / 3 gm

Salt to taste

Mango powder (amchur) 1/2 tsp / 3 gm

Sugar a pinch

Garlic (lasan) paste 1 tsp / 5 gm
- Heat the oil in a wok (kadhai).

Sauté the cumin and fenugreek seeds, when they crackle, add the tomatoes and green chillies.

Fry for 1-2 minutes.

Add all the dry spices and sugar.
-
Cook covered for 5-6 minutes, or till the tomato slices lose their shape.

Add the garlic paste and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Serve hot with missi roti and a glass of chaach.
