1   INGREDIENTS

  • Medium potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 2-3 tsps
  • Oil as needed

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel the potatoes and prick all over with a fork.
  2. Take 4 cups water in a vessel, add 1/2 tsp.
  3. turmeric powder and 2-3 tsps. salt in it and give it one boil.
  4. Add the potatoes in the water and give one more boil.
  5. Remove and drain. Heat oil in a saucepan.
  6. When really hot, put in the salted potatoes deep fry on a low flame.
  7. Serve hot. These are ideal with roasted chicken.
