1   INGREDIENTS

  • Wholewheat flour (atta) 2 1/2 cups / 250 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp / 4 gm
  • Vegetable oil 1 tbsp / 15 ml
  • Water 1/2 cup / 100 ml
  • Butter to grease baking tray

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Sift the flour and salt together.
  2. Mix in the oil and water, knead to make a soft dough.
  3. Cover with a moist cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough equally into 5 balls and dust with flour.
  5. Heat the oven to 175ºC, flatten the balls and roll each out to an 8” disc.
  6. Place the discs on a greased tray and bake for 3 minutes till pale brown in colour.
  7. Serve hot.
