1   INGREDIENTS

  • 3 or 4 Eggs (boiled, peeled and mashed)
  • 2 large Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 Green Pepper (Hari Mirch) (chopped)
  • 1/8 tsp. Red Chilli Powder (Pisi Lal Mirch) (or to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (Pisi Kaali Mirch) (freshly ground - to taste)
  • 5 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • A few strands of Fresh Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhania) (chopped - for garnish)

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. In a skillet, Fry chopped tomatoes in oil until well cooked.
  2. Add green pepper, red chilli powder, salt, and black pepper; stir fry for a minute or so.
  3. Add Eggs and cook by stirring until eggs are well done; remove from heat.
  4. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander and serve hot.

  3. in gulf insted of boiled egg we add beaten egg to the tomatoes and stir till the egg becomes dry serve with iranian khubz roti it is called chakchoka

  4. It is similar to Boiled Egg Bhurji we prepare at hone the only difference is that we add boiled potatos both eggs and potatos are cut in cubes/sliced. Taste great with Chappattis /Parathas
