  • Chickpeas 2 tin
  • Onion 1/2 cup
  • Tomato (small) 7-8
  • Cucumber 2
  • Capsicum 1/2
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Olives 1/2 cup
  • Cottage cheese (low fat) 1/2 cup
  • Fresh Coriander (hara dhanya) 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil 4 tbsp
  • Vinegar 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 3 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds a pinch
  • Oregano 2 pinch
  • Poppadoms (Papar) for serving
  • Black salt as to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil the chickpeas if required.

  2. Chop onion, tomatoes, cucumber, garlic and olives.

  3. Now add chickpeas in a bowl.

  4. Add tomatoes, garlic, onion and black salt in it.

  5. Also add oregano, olives and vinegar in it.

  6. Add cucumber, cottage cheese and coriander in it.

  7. Take olive oil and mix lemon juice in it.

  8. Add olive oil mix in the chickpeas mix.

  9. Now add the cumin seeds and capsicum.

  10. Mix them all well.

  11. Now crush with hands crisp papar.

  12. Sprinkle them on the chickpeas mixture.

  13. The salad is ready to serve.
