1   INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken, boneless cut into pieces 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes, pureed 3
  • Green Chilli, finely chopped 1
  • Sesame Seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds, roasted 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander and Mint Leaves for garnishing
  • Butter 2 1/2 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat butter and oil together and add chicken.
  2. Fry on medium heat for 7 minutes then add salt, chilli powder and black pepper.
  3. Stir for 5 minutes then remove chicken and keep it aside.
  4. In the same cooking oil fry sesame seeds and cumin seeds till brown.
  5. Then add tomato puree, salt, chilli powder, green chillies, coriander powder, turmeric and mix well.
  6. Add the chicken and simmer till puree is well cooked and chicken is tender.
  7. Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
  8. Serve hot with naan or parathas.
