1   INGREDIENTS

  • Milk 3 cups
  • Strawberry custard powder 3 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cream 8 oz (beat together with 1 oz castor sugar)
  • Strawberry jelly 1 packet
  • Strawberry fruit tin 1 small
  • Marie biscuits 12
  • Strawberry essence
  • Strawberry syrup

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare custard with milk, custard powder, sugar and strawberry essence and allow to cool at room temperature.
  2. Next, prepare jelly. Cut strawberries into small pieces, beat cream and fold into custar.
  3. Spread half of the custard in a transparent bowl layering it with half of the semi-set jelly.
  4. Spread the biscuits over the jelly. Cover with strawberries and spread the remaining jelly and custard.
  5. Top it off with whipped cream and strawberry syrup.
  6. Set the trifle to chill in the freezer.
