1   INGREDIENTS

  • Prawns 800 gms
  • Large sliced onions 2
  • Green chillies 6
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cloves of garlic 6
  • Tamarind juice 1 cup
  • Coconut (scraped) 1/2
  • Milk coconut 1/2

2   COOKING DIRECTIONS

  1. Shell, vein and wash the prawns.
  2. Cut them in halves and fry.
  3. Fry 2 large sliced onions and 6 green chillies, turmeric powder, ground coriander seeds and garlic.
  4. Add the milk of the 1/2 coconut, prawns and tamarind juice.
  5. Add salt to taste and the scrapings of the 1h coconut.
  6. Simmer till cooked.
