Ingredients

  • Cardamom 1
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cloves 2
  • Cinnamon sticks 2
  • Whole black peppers 2
  • Basmati rice ½ kg
  • Kabuli chana 100 gm
  • White cumin ¼ tsp
  • Clarified butter 2 tbsp
  • Onion 2 tbsp (fried)
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak kabuli channa for 5 – 6 hours and boil.

  2. Soak rice for half an hour and put on flame.

  3. Then add chick peas, clarified butter, white cumin, bay leaf, whole black peppers, cardamom, cinnamon sticks and few cloves and stir well.

  4. Add water as required and cook until water dries up.

  5. You delicious Kabuli Chana Pulao is ready to serve.
