  • Mix Together:
  • Butter 6 tbsp
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Egg 1
  • Vanilla extract ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  • Sift Together:
  • Flour 1, ½ cups
  • Baking powder 1, ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Nutmeg powder ¼ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Grease doughnut shaped baking pans generously and dust lightly with flour. Shake off the excess flour.

  3. Fold flour mixture in butter mixture, ½ cup at a time, alternating with ½ cup milk.

  4. Mix well with a rubber spatula till blended.

  5. Fill the batter in prepared baking up to 2/3 full.

  6. Bake the doughnuts for about ½ hour at 350°F or until doughnuts are done.

  7. Remove immediately from pans, roll in melted butter, then in ½ cup confectioners’ sugar and cinnamon.
