  • Green chilies 250 gm (big)
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander 2 tsp (roasted and crushed)
  • Poppy seeds 2 tsp (roasted)
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • For Baghar:
  • Red chili 6 (whole)
  • Oil ½ cup
  • White Cumin 1 tsp (whole)

Cooking Directions

  1. Slit green chillies from centre and remove seeds.

  2. In a bowl mix together ginger garlic paste, ¼ tsp turmeric, chilli powder, coriander, poppy seeds, dry mango powder, onion seeds and yogurt.

  3. Fill this in the green chillies, preserve the remaining masala.

  4. Heat oil, add whole white cumin, red chili whole, chili powder, garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric, salt and tomato paste with ¼ cup water and fry well.

  5. Add stuffed chillies with the left over masala, let it simmer on low flame till done.
