Ingredients

  • For Prawns
  • Prawn 250 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Ajinomoto 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Cornflour 3 tbsp
  • Oil
  • For Sauce
  • Stock cubes 2
  • Ketchup 1 cup
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Carrot (julien) 1 small
  • Sugar 1/4 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Vinegar 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1-1/2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. For Prawns:Chop prawns roughly.

  2. Beat egg put salt, black pepper, Ajinomoto, soya sauce, milk, flour, cornflour mix well.

  3. In a bowl put prawns and add egg mixture and marinate.

  4. Heat oil in a wok.

  5. Take a large spoon and fill it with marinated prawn with thick mixture and put in oil.

  6. Deep fry prawns till golden brown take out and keep a side.

  7. For Sauce:Heat oil add carrot and stir fry.

  8. Put water, stock cubes, ketchup and let it cook.

  9. Then add sugar, vinegar and soya sauce cook more for a minute.

  10. Add fried prawns in prepared sauce.

  11. Serve hot.
