  • Mutton pieces 1kg
  • Stock 1 ltr
  • Ginger paste 1tsp
  • Garlic paste 2tbsp
  • All purpose flour 1cup
  • Nihari masala 2tbsp
  • Onions 2
  • Oil as required
  • Salt as required
  • Ginger as required
  • Coriander as required
  • Green chilies as required
  • Lemon as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Cook the all purpose flour in a flat pan.

  2. Heat oil in a large pan and fry the chopped onions till they turn light brown.

  3. Now add the ginger paste, garlic paste, and mutton.

  4. Cook until the oil forms a separate layer on top.

  5. Add the nihari masala and cook for 1-2 minutes on a high flame.

  6. Pour in the stock and cook till the meat becomes tender.

  7. Stir in the flour mixed in water and cook till the gravy becomes tender.

  8. Fry some onion slices in oil until golden brown.

  9. Garnish the nihari with the chopped green chilies, chopped coriander and ginger.

  10. Squeeze the juice of a lemon and serve.
