Fantastic, low budget rolls are prepared with rolled out dough and potato mixture is stuffed and rolled into roll shape. Fry them and serve with ketchup.

  • Potatoes ½ kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Onions 2 (finely sliced)
  • Green chilies 2 (finely sliced)
  • Oil 1 liter
  • Paprika or red chili powder 1 pinch
  • Fresh coriander ½ bunch (finely chopped)
  • Garlic 1 tsp (finely chopped)
  • White cumin ½ tsp
  • For the dough:
  • Plain flour 1cup
  • Luke warm water as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Knead the dough and keep in a dry place for half an hour.

  2. Boil potatoes, peel off their skin and mash.

  3. Add onions, garlic, fresh coriander, cumin seeds and salt, black pepper to mashed potatoes.

  4. Now make medium-sized balls of the dough and put a portion of potato mixture in the centre and roll it again.

  5. Repeat the procedure with all dough.

  6. In a wok, heat oil on medium flame and fry the potato balls until golden brown.

  7. Your Preyiaski is ready.

  8. Sprinkle paprika or red chili powder and salt and serve.
