Dry beef and chili is a classic Chinese recipe. This is a great tasting comfort meal, which your family and friends will love. Chunks of beef marinated and cooked with chili, gives off a delicious spicy aroma, it can be served with noodles as well as rice.

  • Beef 1 kg
  • Green chillies 10 to 15
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • White flour with chicken cube 1 tsp
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 8 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Sesame oil few drops

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut the beef into thin strips with a sharp knife.

  2. To prepare the marinade add salt, sugar, black pepper, white pepper, Soya sauce, vinegar, corn flour and white flour.

  3. Marinate the beef strips with the marinade for ½ an hour.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and stir fry the beef till the water dries.

  5. In a separate pan heat oil and stir fry the green chilies.

  6. Now mix in the beef and fry for 4 - 5 minutes.

  7. Add a few drops of sesame oil.

  8. Dish out and serve.
