  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • White cumin whole
  • Boiled potatoes 2 cubes
  • Boiled Cauliflower 100gm
  • Boiled peas 1 cup
  • Boiled carrots 2 cubes
  • Capsicum 1 chopped
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Tomatoes 5 cubes
  • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Garam Masala powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Pao bhaji Masala 3 tsp
  • Salt 2 tbsp
  • Pao bhaji Masala:
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Roasted white cumin seeds 2 tbsp
  • Roasted coriander whole 3 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Cloves 8
  • Whole black pepper 8

Cooking Directions

  1. For pav bhaji Masala, grind Red chili powder, Roasted white cumin seeds, Roasted coriander whole, Mustard seeds, Salt, Cloves and Whole black pepper in the grinder.

  2. Heat up oil in a pan and fry whole white cumin and garlic for 1-2 minutes.

  3. Add potatoes, cauliflower, peas, and carrots

  4. Add salt, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric, pao bhaji Masala and tomatoes.

  5. Mix and mash with spoon or potato masher. Cook for 10-12 minutes.

  6. Turn off the stove and sprinkle garam Masala powder.

  7. Sprinkle capsicum, chopped onion, green coriander, green chilies and place some butter over it.

  8. Heat up remaining butter and add 1/2 tsp red chili powder.

  9. Pour this butter over pav bhaji and serve.
