Ingredients

  • Potatoes 1 lb
  • Green chilies 4
  • Cloves garlic 4
  • Eggs 2
  • Vinegar 1 dessertspoon
  • Gram flour 1 dessertspoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Onions 2
  • Ghee 8 tbsp
  • Coconut 1 small pieces
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Breadcrumbs

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash and quarter the potatoes. Add salt and boil till tender.

  2. Remove and wash off any salt. Grind the coconut coarsely.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients. (Except egg, potato and breadcrumbs) and grind to a paste, using the vinegar to bring it to a fairly thick consistency.

  4. Peel the potatoes, chop into tiny pieces and mix with the paste.

  5. Beat the eggs and stir into mixture.

  6. Shape the mixture into kababs, roll in breadcrumbs and fry on both sides in hot ghee.
