  • Fish ½ kg whole (medium size)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • White pepper ¼ tsp
  • Lemon 1
  • Egg 1
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Plain white flour 2 tbsp
  • Sauce Ingredients:
  • Oil 2 spoons
  • Water 2 cups
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Carrot half
  • Capsicum half
  • Onion half
  • Salt as required
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • White pepper ¼ tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Chilli garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Using sharp knife, cut slits in fish about 1 cm a part.

  2.  Apply slat, black pepper, white pepper, egg, garlic and lemon juice on the fish, leave it for a while.

  3. Heat oil in a fry pan,coat the fish with plain white flour and corn flour and fry it in hot oil.

  4. Heat oil in a pan,when the oil becomes hot, add garlic, carrot, onion, capsicum, remaining spices and chilli garlic sauce, also add one cup water and corn flour mixture to it.

  5. After cooking it for 3 to 4 minutes, let it thicken.

  6. Just pour this sauce on the fish and serve it.

  7. Sprinkle coriander leaves and crushed green chillies to serve it.

  8. Tip: To get rid of fish smell, apply wheat flour and mustard oil on the fish and then wash it.
