Ingredients

  • Carrots (shredded) 500 grams
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Khoya 1/2 cup
  • Kewra few drop
  • Ground green cardamom 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 4 tbsp
  • Ghee 6 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. In a microwave proof bowl, pour milk and sugar and mix well.

  2. Now add shredded carrots, ground cardamom, and ghee in it and well.

  3. Now put it in microwave on 100 C for 10 minutes.

  4. Now take it out and mix the ingredients with spoon and bake another 5 minutes.

  5. This time take out the bowl and add kewra essence and put it back for 5 minutes more.

  6. Now dish it out and garnish it with khoya and enjoy it.

  1. Nahid, you can substitute 1/2 cup khoya/mawa with dry milk powder. Yes, 100 C does means 100 degree centigrade. This recipe is especially created for microwave users, but you can also bake it in conventional oven.

  2. sounds quite interesting n wud love to try it .....but 2 queries plzzz...1> can u give me an alternative for khoya as here in miami i dint get to see khoya/mava yet2> when u use the terms "100 C" (hope u mean 100 degree centigrade ) n "bake" ...u mean a conventional oven or a microwave
