Bran Bread is easy to make bread at home. You need just five ingredients for preparation. This is the best bread when you are on diet.

Ingredients

  • Bread flour 3 cups
  • Wheat bran 4 tbsp
  • Yeast 1 tsp (leveled)
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Warm water 250 ml

Cooking Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand for 10 minutes.

  2. In a bowl add bread flour, wheat bran and salt.

  3. Add yeast water in flour and knead dough until everything is combined and soft dough is ready.

  4. Grease a 9 inches bread pan and shift dough in pan and leave for 1 hour for rising.

  5. Preheat the oven at 200 C for 20 minutes. Place bread pan in the oven.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes then lower down heat to 180 C. bake for another 15-20 minutes.

  7. On the grill function of the oven at the last 2-3 minutes to get a nice golden crust on top.

  8. Cool on wire rack, slice and serve.
