  • Gram lentil boiled 250 gm
  • Bitter gourd 250 gm
  • Onion 2 sliced
  • Whole red chillies 6
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • White cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • All spice ½ tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Green chillies chopped 2 tbsp
  • Chilli powder 1 ½ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Dry roast together coriander seeds, fennel seeds, onion seeds, white cumin seeds and grind finely, keep aside.

  2. Boil lentil till slightly tender, peel and sliced bitter gourd.

  3. Heat oil fry, sliced onion till light golden.

  4. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt, chilli powder, fry well.

  5. Add yogurt, fry well.

  6. Now add boiled gram lentil with sliced bitter gourd.

  7. Mix well, simmer for 10 minutes.

  8. Lastly sprinkle the dry roasted masala and all spice.

  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and green chillies.
