  • Prawns ½ kg
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Chinese salt 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Egg white 2
  • Garlic 1tbsp (chopped)
  • Ginger 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Tomato puree 1 cup
  • Tomato 3 – 4 (chopped)
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • Spring onion 2 – 3 (sliced)
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 – 3 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. In a mixing put bowl prawns, ½ tsp of all spice powder, 1 pinch of salt, ½ tsp Chinese salt, corn flour and egg white and mix well.

  2. Now deep fry the prawns to a light golden color.

  3. Put them on a tissue paper to soak all the oil.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry chopped onion, chopped garlic and chopped ginger and fry them for 1 – 2 minutes.

  5. Now add tomato puree, chopped tomatoes , remaining all spice powder, white vinegar, brown sugar, salt to taste and ½ tsp of Chinese salt and mix well and cook it for 2 – 3 minutes on high flame.

  6. Now mix fried prawns.

  7. Dish out and garnish with sliced spring onion and serve.
