I love homemade marshmallows and often make them. The following recipe is easy and excellent with a great taste and texture.

Ingredients

  • Eggs 2
  • Maple syrup 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract 2 tsp
  • Unflavored gelatin 2 tbsp
  • Water ½ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Beat together eggs, maple syrup and vanilla extract on high speed until peaks form.

  2. In meanwhile heat water and gelatin in a small pan until gelatin completely melted.

  3. While mixing, slowly add gelatin into egg mixture. Beat for 10 minutes on high speed.

  4. Pour mixture into 9x13 inches greased pan. Allow to set for 3 hours or overnight.

  5. Help using a sharp knife cut into your desired shape.

  6. Note: You can substitute the maple syrup for honey.

  7. You may roll each marshmallow in coconut flour or coco powder to prevent them from being so sticky.
