  • Chicken Stock 4-6 cups
  • Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Tomato Paste 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon Stick 2 inch Piece
  • Bay Leaf 1
  • Apple 1 medium
  • Bananas 2
  • White Pepper Powder 1 tsp
  • Curry Powder* 1 tsp
  • Gram Flour 4 tbsp
  • Cooking oil 4 tbsp
  • Garnish:
  • Chicken(boiled & shredded) 1 cup
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice 2-3 tbsp
  • Friend Rice 1/2 cup
  • Parsley(Chopped) 2 tbsp
  • Fresh Cream as requried

Cooking Directions

  1. To make the chicken stock,boil 1/2 kg chicken bones in a pot with 8-10 cups of water until only four cups of stoke remain.

  2. To avoid heek; add one small whole peeled onion and 2-4 black pepper corns when it comes to a boil.

  3. In a separate pot, heat cooking Oil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes and saute garlic for a minute.

  4. Add gram flour and stir until fragrant.

  5. Peel the apple and bananas and cut them into small cubes.

  6. Add them the pot and mix well.

  7. Add salt, cinnamon, bay leaf, white pepper ,curry powder, tomato paste,and chicken stock.

  8. Max well Cook the soap for 15-20 minutes, blend to a fine paste and then strain.

  9. Serve hot with garnish on the side.

  10. To make the friend rice, boil the rice and stir-fry with 2 tablespoons of cooking Oil until golden.    

  11. Tip: In case curry powder is not available,mix equal quantities of red chilli powder,turmeric,coriander powder and cumin seeds and use accordingly.
