  • Beef or Mutton meat 1 kg
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli as required (finely chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Saffron ½ tsp (dissolve in screw pine essence or water)
  • Clarified butter ¼ cup
  • Coconut powder 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tsp
  • Papaya 1 tbsp (roast and ground)
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Brown onion 2 (chopped)
  • Peanuts 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves (chopped)

Cooking Directions

  1. Marinate meat with lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, saffron, coconut powder, poppy seeds, ground papaya, salt, all spice, peanuts, yogurt, and brown onion for half an hour.

  2. Then bake it in oven for 40 minutes or add clarified butter in skillet and cook for half an hour until meat is tender.

  3. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chilli.

  4. Serve hot.
