  • Red Lentils (Moong daal) 1 cup
  • Green Gram (Masoor daal) 1 cup
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Tomatoes 1 cup
  • Onion 1 large finely chopped
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • All spices powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • Ajinomoto 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 10
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix pulses wash and soak for 1 hour then boil with salt.

  2. Heat oil fry onion in a pan till golden brown.

  3. Add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, ajinimoto, tomatoes and little water cook it till tomatoes turn in paste .

  4. Add boil pulses in this gravy, green chillies, coriander leaves, all spices powder, ajinimoto and curry leaves mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes more.  

  5. Serve with naan or chapati.
