These minced meatballs are served in Greek-style on skewers with a tangy Greek yogurt dip. You can also serve them without skewers. A perfect lunch or dinner for your family.

  • Mutton mince 500 gm
  • Small onion 1 (chopped)
  • Garlic cloves 4 (chopped)
  • Egg 1
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Mint 2 tsp
  • Stock cube 1
  • Oil for shallow fry
  • Yogurt Sauce:
  • Greek yogurt 200 gm
  • Parsley 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Lemon juice 2 tsp
  • Skewers as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Put all kofta ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

  2. Divide mixture into eight parts and firm into a ball shape.

  3. Heat oil in a wok and shallow fry kofta from both sides. It will take 6 minutes from each side.

  4. In the mean while mix yogurt sauce ingredients with a fork.

  5. Now thread two kofta in one skewer.

  6. Serve with rice, yogurt sauce and salad.
