Ingredients

  • Egg 1
  • Eggs yolks 4
  • Sugar ¾ cup
  • Cream ½ cup (whipped)
  • Lemon juice ½ cup
  • Lemon skin 1 tsp
  • Marshmallow peep for decoration

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 C.

  2. Combine together egg, egg yolks, sugar and lemon juice.

  3. Add in cream and whisk until sugar dissolves.

  4. Strain the mixture and mix lemon skin.

  5. Place 6 - 3/4 cup pot de creme cups or custard cups, in a large pan.

  6. Divide the mixture evenly into the cups.

  7. Pour enough hot water in the pan to come halfway up the sides of the dishes.

  8. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.

  9. Place in oven and bake until the custard is just set around the edges, approximately 35 minutes.

  10. Remove the pan from the oven.

  11. Remove dishes from the pan and allow them to cool.

  12. Then, cover and chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours and as long as overnight.
