This recipe is purely inspired from Danish pastry, but its crispier and more buttery. Puff pastry is layered with delicious banana custard, baked and sliced for convenience.

  • Puff pastry ½ kg
  • Banana 4 (chopped)
  • Egg 4
  • Milk 2 cup
  • Caster sugar ½ cup
  • Vanilla custard powder 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Beat eggs, vanilla essence, milk, caster sugar and vanilla custard powder.

  2. Cook in a saucepan on low flame.

  3. When the mixture turns thick add chopped bananas and turn the flame off.

  4. Grease a baking tray and put a layer of puff pastry.

  5. Then pour banana custard on top of them.

  6. Keep adding layers of puff pastry and custard one after the other.

  7. Sprinkle sugar on top and bake it.

  8. Delicious banana custard slice is ready, chill before serving.
