Ingredients

  • Ready-made Puff Pastry 400 gm
  • Raisins ½ cup
  • Roughly chopped Pistachio Nuts ½ cup
  • Roughly chopped Pecan Nuts 100 gm
  • Milk 4 cups
  • Cream ½ cup
  • White Sugar 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon Powder 20 ml

Cooking Directions

  1. Unroll, the puff pastry and cut into six pieces.

  2. Bake the puff pastry in a hot oven, 200˚C - 220˚C, until cooked and crisp.

  3. Butter an ovenproof dish.

  4. Divide each puff piece in half to form layers.

  5. Place a layer of puff into the dish, braking pieces of puff to fit the base of the dish.

  6. Top the puff with some raisins and nuts and continue until the dish is filled.

  7. Ensure even distribution of nuts and raisins between the puff layers.

  8. Bring the milk, cream, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon to the boil.

  9. Then pour the boiled milk over the Puff pastry and bake at 180˚C for about 30 minutes till brown.

  10. Serve hot and enjoy.
