Ingredients

  • Fish fillets 250 grams
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • All purpose flour ½ cup
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp
  • Egg white 1
  • Water ½ cup
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Ingredients for Sauce
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Ginger (julienned) 1 tbsp
  • Garlic (crushed) 1 tbsp
  • Sweet chili sauce ½ cup
  • Sriracha sauce 3 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Marinate fish fillet with salt and black pepper.

  2. Mix together all purpose flour, corn flour, egg white, and water to make smooth batter.

  3. Dip fish pieces in batter to coat completely and deep fry.

  4. For Sauce: Heat oil adds ginger and garlic; fry for 2 minutes. Then add sweet chili sauce, sriracha sauce, soya sauce and vinegar.

  5. Set fried fish in platter, top with sauce and serve immediately.
