Ingredients

  • Oil 200 grams
  • Chopped onion 125 grams
  • Ginger paste 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 to 3 tsp
  • Red chili powder ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt 250 grams
  • Prawns 500 grams
  • Finely sliced ginger 25 grams
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Butter 50 grams
  • Coriander and ginger for garnishing

Cooking Directions

  1. In a pan, heat oil and sauté sliced onion until it is golden brown.

  2. Now add ginger paste and garlic paste and sauté.

  3. When onion is slightly brown, add red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste and allow cooking.

  4. When spices are fragrant, add yogurt and cook.

  5. When oil forms a separate layer, add prawns and sliced ginger and allow cooking for 4 to 5 minutes.

  6. Then add cream and butter and cook for another 2 minutes.

  7. Garnish with coriander and ginger and serve.
