Rich vegetable cheese balls with cream texture curry is very delicious unique dish. Veggie lover will enjoy it specially in weekday or on weekend also. Boiled rice or chappaties are great to serve with.

  • Potatoes ½ kg (boiled)
  • Cheese 100 gm
  • Carrots ½ cup (boiled and chopped)
  • Peas ½ cup (boiled)
  • Corn flour ½ cup
  • White flour ½ cup
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • For gravy:
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing (chopped)

Cooking Directions

  1. Meat balls:

  2. Mashed boiled potatoes.

  3. Now add peas, carrots, cheese, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, chopped green chilies and salt to taste, mix well and shape into small balls.

  4. Then spread the corn flour and white flour in a plate and coat the balls.

  5. Fry the balls in a wok and keep aside.

  6. Gravy:

  7. Boil chopped tomatoes and chopped onions in cup of water in a skillet and blend to form a smooth paste.

  8. Now in another pan add oil and sauté garlic paste.

  9. Then add turmeric powder, all spice powder, red chili powder, chopped coriander and salt to taste and fry until the oil floats on top.

  10. After this add the tomato and onion paste fry for 2-3 minutes.

  11. Now add water as required and put the vegetable balls.

  12. In the end put cream and fry it for 2-3 minutes.

  13. Turn the flame off and garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
