Satay is a popular dish of Thai cuisine. Meat is marinated, pinned in with skewers and grilled on charcoals.

  • Beef or chicken (small boneless cubes) 1 kg
  • Skewers (bamboo) 70 sticks
  • Turmeric 1, 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger paste 300 gm
  • Lemon grass 5 sticks (blended)
  • Sugar 250 gm
  • Salt 1 tbs
  • Coriander seeds (grounded) 4 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix meat with all the ingredients.

  2. Marinate it for 1 to 2 hours.

  3. Meanwhile soak the skewers in water so that they wont burn while grilling.

  4. Put meat on to skewers at 110 grams per stick.

  5. Now grill the skewers on charcoal and enjoy hot with sauces and dips.
