Preheat oven at 180 degree C.
Melt dark chocolate in microwave for 1 minute.
Heat 5 tbsp water and add to the melted chocolate. Whisk till well blended.
Place the butter in a bowl and sift the powdered sugar into it. Mix well.
Add eggs and melted chocolate mixture to the mixture and mix well with electric beater.
Sift flour and baking powder into the bowl and mix well.
Add vanilla essence, cocoa powder and beat/mix again.
Grease the muffin molds.
Place 2 strips of white chocolate at the base of the molds.
Pour batter till the molds are three fourth full.
Put some more chocolate strips on the top.
Place the molds in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
Cool, de-mold and serve dredged with icing sugar.
