  • Chicken boneless 2 cups
  • Cheddar cheese 1 cup (grated)
  • Gram Flour 1 cup (roasted)
  • Egg 1
  • Capsicum 1 (chopped)
  • Green chilies 6 (chopped)
  • Fresh coriander ½ bunch (chopped)
  • Cumin 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For Gravy:
  • Tomatoes ½ kg
  • Onion (fried) 1 cup
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Green chilies paste 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste 2 tbsp
  • Jaggery 1 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil chicken with salt, red chili powder, and ginger garlic paste.

  2. Now shred the chicken.

  3. Add grated cheddar cheese, roasted gram flour, egg, chopped capsicum, chopped green chilies, chopped fresh coriander and cumin.

  4. Mix well and make small koftas of the mixture.

  5. For Gravy: Blend together tomatoes, and fried onion.

  6. Heat oil in a wok, add in the blended mixture.

  7. Fry well, add green chilies, cook till water dries up.

  8. Now add salt, tamarind pulp, jaggery and kofta balls.

  9. Cook on low flame for 20 minutes.

  10. Finally spoon butter on top and serve hot.
